The Tabernacle By Foundation Cigar is the blend that started it all, creating an empire through sheer dedication to the art of premium tobacco. From the combined efforts of master blender Nicholas Melillo and AJ Fernandez, Tabernacle is a dark, oily, delight.
Named Tabernacle as a reference to the biblical icon, its name conveys the sheer reverance Foundation has for its tobacco. Built using prime Nicaraguan tobacco from the Esteli and Jalapa Valley, grown on Aj Fernandez exclsuive La Soledad farm, and draped in a luscious Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.
Sparking up any of The Tabernacle’s vitolas releases the powerful notes of sweet cocoa, buttery leather, and hearty black pepper on the draw.
It’s Lancero size recieved a magnificient 90-point rating from the experts at Cigar Aficionado, with its review stating, “Slightly bowed with an inky-black wrapper. First puffs are sweet and leathery, ushering in a bold core of coffee-bean that intensifies, along with notes of spice, wood and molasses. The draw and burn are even throughout.”
