A few years back Montecristo’s team made a deal with Plasencia tobacco growers. Consisted of letting Montecristo blenders have full access to all high quality tobacco leaves. The outcome was a cigar named Montecristo Espada. The popularity of the cigar only grew and now they decided to launch another version called, Montecristo Espada Oscuro.
