The name “La Promesa” refers to a promise the founder Jose ‘Pepin’ García made to his family when he left Cuba to start a new life. He promised to build a cigar company outside of Cuba and to honor his family and tobacco heritage. Keeping his promise, now the My Father Cigars are known internationally and are one of the best rated cigars brands in the world. My Father La Promesa is handmade at the My Father Cigars Factory, in Estelí, Nicaragua.
