The red slide top cedar cabinet of Puros of St. James became a symbol of the famous St. James Street in London, England, where pedestrians, strolling along, pass by historic cigar emporiums such as James J Fox & Robert Lewis, who held the distinguished honor to be the cigar purveyors for the Royal family for generations, as well as many other colorful cigar stores.
The story goes that Sir Winston Churchill used to make sure to visit St. James Street on his way to or from, 10 Downing Street to the Parliament. Hand crafted by the cigar masters of the MATASA factory, in the Dominican Republic, the medium bodied cigar sports the rare combination of Dominican filler in a Connecticut binder and Sumatran wrapper.
