Smoke wise, this being the Toro, one of the more popular cigar sizes (sometimes referred to as the Corona Gorda or the Corona Extra), this type can be enjoyed within the convenient and manageable period of 45 minutes, or drawn out to enjoy its complexity. Blend-wise, the new cigar incorporates the same binder and filler as the original Casa Magna line, but replaces the Colorado leaf on that blend with claro (Spanish for light)-colored wrapper that is grown in Nicaragua’s Jalapa Valley. Underneath this exquisite top-leaf, a blend of aged Nicaraguan filler tobaccos from several of the most fertile regions combine for mouthwatering flavors of pepper, cocoa, nuts, sweet cream, and cedar.
