Fernadez has gone to even greater heights for this new mix, exclusively utilizing tobacco from his own private Durado farm in Esteli, Nicaragua. The farm itself was christened Durado for the special golden hue that seemed to emanate from the land once it was cultivated. That golden hue certainly translated to the actual cigars, as every fiber of their profile is fastened from incandescent Nicaraguan tobacco. Sparking it up brings a medium-level strength tinged with a golden taste. At five and a half inches, and a robust sixty ring gauge, this Gordito is an indulgent hour-long smoke.
